What is Digital Music Composition and Production?

 

Digital Music Compositio= n and Production is the process of converting musical components (melodies, chords, beats & rhythms, harmonies, lyrics) into complete songs or broadcast quality music productions. 

 

We employ cutting-edge technology in creating broadcast-quality authentic music for a vast variety of venues.  Our musical instrument library inc= ludes an extensive assortment of keyboards, strings, guitars, horns, woodwinds, percussions and synthesizers – all authentically and digitally sampled from the original musical instrument.  Our music sequencers and synthesizers are considered among of the mo= st advanced and proficient performance, multi-timbral sequencing and recording musical workstations available today.

 

Digital music composition may begin with a basic pi= ano where a composer creates the melody or builds supporting harmony around the idea or melody of the client. From there, the digital music composer follows these steps:

 

  • Enters the musical score through an electronic keyboard into a computer sequencer that converts the music into MIDI tracks.
  • Adds harmony and rhythm tracks.
  • Selects the pads and instruments sounds for each track.
  • Edits, refines, and expands the idea,--- then develops an arrangement and orchestration and works toward a fini= shed piece of music.  -- this is where the music takes form as easy listen= ing, new age, or instrumental background music.
  • Records high-resolution digital audio tracks.
  • Processes the digital audio tracks with software.
  • Mixes down the various audio tracks into a wave, mp3 or real au= dio file.
  • Burns a CD.
  • Listens to the CD on a high quality audio system.

Goes back to the computer sequencer trac= ks as required and make changes.
